Founded in 2024, the Chicago LIT Collective debuted with community support and a bold mission: to make literacy engaging, relevant, and empowering for youth.
From pitch competitions to museum-based storytelling experiences, we design programs that inspire creativity and confidence.

Our mission is To increase literacy, create more self-published authors, and build toward our future vision: LIT University.
